Hello! HALLOWEEN WEEKEND!!! Do you have big plans? We are co-hosting a Halloween party on Saturday and I can’t WAIT! I’m going as a black cat (see my inspiration here)! I got these lace ears and this black lace top to channel my inner feline. Aren’t these candy corn jello shots the coolest?! So festive and fun! And, I am very excited to take the kids trick-or-treating beforehand! I am probably more excited than Ivy :) It’ll be fun to see her say “trick-or-treat,” and see them in their costumes again. HI! I’m really excited for this weekend! We are headed to Minneapolis to visit some family and Ivy can hardly wait to see her cousins Anna and Nora! We are going to go to the Jungle Book play at the Children’s Theater and I hope Ivy can sit still for that long! Otherwise, definitely hitting the Mall of America and hopefully some good meals too. Hello! This is going to be a busy weekend filled with all sorts of Halloween fun! Hunting season has hit SD so I’m solo along with some pals to hit the Spooky Science Night tonight at the Pavilion. I’m REALLY excited about this! I love science!! Tomorrow I have a baby shower to attend and it’s sure to be done so beautifully pink ballerina, I can’t wait to see it! Then we are going to the Halloween Hike at the Outdoor Campus and topping it off with the Halloween Fest at Leif Ericson! Whew! We are sure to be exhausted by Sunday, but I just can’t resist some Halloween fun! And Sunday night will finally be a date night with some friends at a farm to table event out at K’s farm. It’ll be the most delicious food combo with Queen City Bakery! Five course meal, YUUUUUUM. My mouth is watering already!!! Hope to see some of you out at these family events! Have a great weekend!

Hi! This week has actually gone by really fast! We are anxious for Saturday here because John finally gets back from hunting ducks in Canada! It’s so funny, Ivy keeps saying “where’s John?” Ha! I should maybe start calling him Daddy I guess :) Then on Sunday we are doing a mini photo session for xmas cards with The Photography Shoppe. I’m anxious to have a professional photo of the four of us, finally! I hope Ivy and Leo cooperate! And crazy to think about xmas cards, but already loving this classy one or this fun one! TGIF! This was a busy week with all of Ivy’s birthday shenanigans! And this weekend isn’t slowing down : / We have the Elton John concert tonight! Soooo excited! Then tomorrow night I’m getting inducted into my high school’s hall of fame, huge honor! I have to give a speech, yikes! But I am full of gratitude to be inducted and it should be a lot of fun. Then I want to hit up the Harvest festival on Sunday and get some mini pumpkins and gourds and decorate our front entrance (these are great ideas!). And just like that, we’re into October! Whew! Up next, HALLOWEEN, my FAVORITE!
