Hello! And Happy Friday! This weekend we’re packing up the family and heading to Okoboji, Iowa for Winter Games. I’ve never been to it and our neighbors invited us to their cabin with them so I am pretty excited. It’s going to be wild with lots of action all weekend! I’m so glad it’s going to be warmer than normal so we can see all the activities and actually bear to be outside. Otherwise, six days till we are in the Bahamas! YES!!!!!! This weekend the kids and I are solo while John is away for a guy’s trip. Humph : / We are going to a Zoo Cub class on Saturday and that’s really all we have planned. Pretty different than the last couple of really busy months! I am most excited for the Broncos vs. Patriots game on Saturday! GOOOOO Peyton! Who are you rooting for? I’m REALLY excited for this weekend! I’m heading to Minneapolis for a girl’s trip with four other friends and it is bound to be amazing! We plan on eating at The Bachelor Farmer and Hey Dey for dinner. I am so anxious for some delicious food, wine, and girl talk! That means, the kids are with John!!! EEEE! Hoping the bottle goes ok. Leo’s taken one only four other times by three different people and has done fine, so I’m sure John will have no trouble (hopefully!) They’ll all get some quality bonding time in :) And about time I get a trip away! Pretty pumped. I’ll definitely miss the fam though. Truth, I put 1.8.15 at first. Still can’t believe it’s 2016! Whew! Anyways, what’s going on this weekend? John and I are going to the new movie The Revenant with Leonardo DiCaprio tonight, I can’t wait! Love DiCaprio and it sounds like an incredible story and movie. And it’s been WAY too long since we’ve been to a movie, so much needed! We will proooobably sneak some wine in :) Shhh! Otherwise, it’s Frosty Frolics weekend, lots of outdoor activities! The carnival on Sunday sounds fun, but BRRRR, it’s supposed to be 2 degrees on Saturday and 7 degrees on Sunday, sooo might be staying indoors : / Well, hope you have a good weekend! Hello! Brrrrr it’s cold outside! Still not ready for winter to be here, I can do snow, but the wind chill is a killer! We’re stuck inside working on potty training anyways, and I think she’s got it this time!! Anyways, I had some fun with friends last night playing Bunco and Cards Against Humanity, which is the best game ever. It’s so hilarious! Fun to get together with some girls and just LAUGH. And drink wine :)  Any holiday parties this weekend? We have one on Saturday and it’ll be sure to have some delicious cocktails knowing the host! Pretty excited about that! Speaking of cocktails, look at this list of 10 best winter cocktails, don’t they all sound so yummy! I love holiday parties, so festive and fun leading up to Christmas.
