Swim season is here! After this hot and humid weather this week, it’s got me all ready to hit the pool! Now to find some swimsuits! I have never worn a one-piece, but I might this summer with how many girly pretty ones are out there, like this one in purple flower from Anthro. Either way, it’s always nice to have a few that I can switch between because if you’re like me, you live at the pool or lake! I can’t wait to get Ivy in the water too this summer, so many freaking cute swimsuits for girls!!! I love when Mamas and their mini me little girls match, I think it’s so cute! I LOVE swimsuit shopping, just not always the trying on part ;) Either way, swim = sun and I am pumped for both! J. Crew is genius with their swimwear – they offer “long torso” for a few extra dollars, but how nice is that! I always love the tops where you can get your bra size, then you know it’s a good fit. And lots of sales going on right now! Victoria’s Secret already has up to 60% off most of their swimwear. I’ve been waiting for this bikini to go on sale from Free People, love the high-neck on it! The v-neck is just enough to expose a little peep show, and the button closures are so lovely. I love how it cinched in the middle to break it up a little. And HELLO legs! It was short but not too short and it made my legs looks super long which I was definitely ok with!

Next is COOL. Oh how I love WHITE in the summer! A cool color that can work in so many ways. I just LOVE this babydoll dress. It’s a tad flowy and the detail at the top is so pretty. I think it’s perfect because you can wear it during the day to a lunch date with casual shoes, or dress it up and go hip and sexy at night with some heels. Versatile dress to play with!

I don’t know WHERE she got it. I mean, Ivy’s need to be as GIRLY GIRL as possible, is so funny to me. I was an athletic girl who didn’t care barely cared about pink or wearing a dress until high school. So this is all new to me, this, pink obsession, girly obsession, and her need to wear a tutu, princess outfit, or dress LITERALLY every day. I do love the tutus, they’re super cute, but the dresses out there are just so precious! I taught Ivy about matching because she was dressing herself and coming out looking completely ridiculous, and well, that has bit me in the butt! Now she thinks she has to match pink on pink or purple on purple, or WHATEVER color “match” combo she can come up with, so this whole dress thing is totally going to be in my favor! She can just slip on one dress and ta-da! DONE. Ivy is good at dressing herself and the more dresses that I can fill her closet with, the better the chance that I will actually want to be seen with her in public :)

I love that top left one (number 1)! Extra flowy and the flowers are really pretty! I also love number 4  because that is one of my favorite colors! I know Ivy would love any one with flowers and pink, so any of those to fulfill her girly need! She pointed to number 2 and 7 :) Ha!

Well if this Spring would warm up we could go without tights! But it just doesn’t seem to be giving into the warm temps yet. June and January and Gap (like these pink ones!) have really cute tights for those chilly days.

Spring has me all up in a hussy! I am SO sick of wearing my winter coat! Spring has been quite the tease so far giving me serious weather whiplash, but I SWEAR consistent warmer weather has to be here soon 🙏 So I’m gonna bid farewell to winter and get into the fun Spring style trends out there right now!

I’m LOVING all of the peplum tops out there. I think they’re flirty and fun and ultra cute. I’m also seeing a TON of lace-up tops and off the shoulder tops. Spring is bringing sexy back with a little skin! I love the off the shoulder top above, it’s not too much skin but just enough. And of course I’m totally into hats right now! I desperately need a dye job so a hat is perfect, until then :) And those colored mirrored sunglasses! SOOO cool! Gah! I just want warm sunshine back! So over these cold temps. Ready to wear all the lace-up shoes and scalloped flats! Just need that pedicure first ☺️
