Baby Number Three Is… !!!!

Yesterday we had our ultrasound, and first and foremost, baby is HEALTHY and growing perfectly!!! That is such a relief. While it’s soooooo exciting for us to find out the gender, it’s so nerve-wracking going in there making sure everything is fine with the baby. So after that hurdle was crossed, we had the sonographer stuff an envelope with our gender in it and there it sat on our counter just STARING at me until our date night (#torture)! John said it hit him like a freight train, he thought it was a girl! I on the other hand, was super nervous thinking it was going to be a boy! I don’t know why boys make me so nervous, the other gender I guess, but they do! Even after how sweet Leo is, I was so nervous thinking it was going to be a boy! So, babysitter arrived, and John and I headed downtown to M.B. Hastkett. We hardly even got our drinks before we opened the envelope!

YIPPEE!!!!!! Ivy is going have a little mini me! I can’t WAIT to see the girls play together! Ivy is SOOOOOOOOOO excited! She wanted a girl!

I always wanted a sister for Ivy since I grew up with two sisters very close in age, however, I also wanted a brother for Leo, so I was pretty indifferent, well more like 60/40 girl, so I AM PUMPED that Ivy will have a sister!!!! Sorry Leo!

I was looking at Leo yesterday thinking, I only want one Mama’s boy!! So I guess I get my one sweet boy and my two drama filled princess girls! :) Leo will be surrounded by girls! EEEK!

Just love him in that photo, so sweet. He will be such a good big brother!!! I can’t wait to see him with the baby. He loves babies!

So excited about another girl! Ivy and baby will be sharing a room together, already having images of girl talk up late at night! :)

Baby Gender Awaits!

Really excited about today! We had our ultrasound and everything went spectacular! Baby is healthy and all good so that is a HUGE relief! Heart rate was 144, baby weighed 11oz, and was moving around a ton during the entire ultrasound. Super cute!

I am 19 weeks and 2 days and have been feeling the baby kick a lot lately! That’s the best part, love those lil jabs. It was so nice to see the baby and know that everything is going well. Huge relief. Still amazes me that us humans make these little babies! INSANE!

I have NO idea what the baby might be! This pregnancy has been exactly like Ivy and Leo’s, so I’ve had three exact same pregnancies! So weird! I thought for sure this one would be different. So with already having a boy and a girl and again having the same pregnancy, I have no clue what it will be! My mind wants to say girl, but I can’t quite spit that out, so maybe it will be a boy. Either way, very excited to know which lucky sibling will have a mini me! It’s currently sitting in an envelope on our counter just STARING AT ME!

With Ivy, we found out right in the ultrasound room and that was super boring, with Leo we had them put it in an envelope and John and I opened it later in the day (see his reveal here). We then had family over to celebrate so that was quite fun! Now with baby three, John and I are going to again put it in an envelope and open it together during our dinner date. I’m excited to freak out with excitement together about the gender, chat about the baby, and talk names with just us two and no kids to bother us! :)

Stay tuned for GENDER DETAILS! EEEEEK! Who is going to get a little mini me, sister Ivy or brother Leo?!?! Can’t wait! And so thankful for a healthy baby!

Announcing Baby Number 3!

Big news!! We are pregnant with baby number three! AHHHHH! We are so excited to add one last (yes, 3 is my max!) baby to this clan. Due date is June 4th. That’s my Dad’s birthday! And June 8th is my birthday AND Leo’s birthday! Seriously, if we have ANOTHER June 8 birthday… that will be CRAAAAAZY.

I’m 16.5 weeks right now and feeling great! So weird but I’ve had the exact same pregnancy all three pregnancies so far! No nausea (THANK GOODNESS, so lucky), and really no symptoms at all. Cruising right through it! I don’t want it to go by too fast though!

I’ve been able to keep up with running and Barre3, which I started before I was pregnant and am obsessed with! They do a fabulous job at accommodating and telling me alternate exercises to do. I love it there and it’s so great having an hour to myself and getting a workout in. Plus they have childcare! Whoop!

I didn’t do ANYTHING during Leo’s pregnancy and with Ivy’s, I ran almost everyday the entire pregnancy, so I am glad I was in shape before getting pregnant so I can keep up with it all! Will hopefully bounce back fast after birth. HOPEFULLY.

Ivy is so excited! She is really understanding a baby this time around. She talks to my belly and really loves to poke my belly button which pops out like the second I’m pregnant, ugh. She wants the baby to be a girl and wants to name her “Elsie!” Which is also one of her best friend’s names! Pretty cute :)

Leo walks around saying “baby baby” which is so freaking adorable. He’s so sweet and will be such a good big brother. I can’t wait to see him with a real baby! He LOVES stuffed animals so I can already picture him being really nurturing! So cute. REALLY hard to imagine him not being the baby of the family anymore though, he’s just so sweet! He’ll always be my baby :)

No clue if it’s a boy or girl. With having the same pregnancy through Ivy and Leo and those being different genders, now this being the same pregnancy again, we have no idea!

So excited to share this news with you all! It’s going by so fast already and I’m happy to go through pregnancy one last time. I love to feel those baby kicks!
