Leo is 7 months old today! He is such a happy boy and smiles all the time! This month was big with FOOD! I’m a big fan of baby-led weaning (read this book if you’re interested) and he’s gotten MUCH better this month. Really chewing and swallowing and picking up the food to bring to his mouth. His favorite this month was probably the potato ham soup or short ribs that I made! Oh wait! OR probably the donut my Mom gave him! :) Ha! So he’s moving right along with that. He really loves to sit at the table with us (we got him this high-chair) and he is mastering his pincer grip.

Haha, that picture makes me laugh with his double chin! And yes, he’s still a big boy!! Growing so fast. He has started scooting on his belly and he’s all over the place in his crib. Probably going to start crawling this month or next. EEEK! Then I’ll REALLY see what a boy is like with the things he’ll probably get in to!

He loves to play with his toes and reaches them to his mouth often. Which is so cute! He also STILL loves his two fingers to suck on. He’s really preferring his last two fingers, his pinkie and ring finger lately. But sometimes it switches :)

He also popped TWO teeth this month! He got a fever and runny nose/cold during the week of teething, but he also had vaccinations that week. So it might have been the teeth. Ivy never had trouble teething so this whole fever/cold/miserable behavior could be new to me if Leo has problems teething :(

He’s still getting up once a night to nurse : / Buuut, pretty much sleeps from 7pm – 7am other than that one time getting up. So he’s doing good! He also makes a lot of noises! He says “A-da, a-da” all day and it’s funny because Ivy will copy him! Here’s a video of him chatting with me :)

And he still LOVES his sister! Watches her all the time. And Ivy has gotten quite smitten on him this month. Always kissing and hugging him. SWOON. (PS – Ivy’s skinny legs here! WHOA!)

Leo is 4 months old!

This month he has been hilarious! He smiles ALL the time, like way more than I ever remember Ivy smiling! He really is sweet. And he likes to talk too! If he’s anything like Ivy, this is going to be one non-stop chatter of a household!

He’s starting to roll on his side, in fact he sleeps like that sometimes, kinda scary, but it must be comfortable for him. And the sleep situation hasn’t changed. Still going to bed around 7-730, wakes up around 330, then again at 7ish. Not quite sleeping through the night. I have the feeling he might NEVER! EEEK!

Lately he LOVES to watch his sister Ivy! She takes care of him and is always looking out for him. They’re forming quite a bond, I love it! He watches her all day long. Can’t wait till they can actually play together!

Here is Leo at 1 month, 2 months, and 3 months

Leo is THREE months old today! He’s getting to be so fun and interactive, I’m loving it! He smiles a ton whenever you make eye contact with him and coos to tell you he loves you! :) He still really loves to be held and wants to face out all of the time now so he doesn’t miss out on any of the action. Especially watching his obnoxious sister Ivy!

He has really started loving his hands and he likes to suck on his fingers and not on a pacifier, hehe, even if he’s just been fed! He is not even close to sleeping through the night (AHHH!!!), unlike his sister that was sleeping 12 hours already at three months. So we have some work to do! I’m convinced that he’s just a big growing boy and really wants to see his mommy at night :) I’ll just keep telling myself that…

Leo has the most beautiful blue-gray eyes right now and I’m hoping they stay that way! His blond hair is growing and it’s the cutest little fuzz on top of his head. He is getting stronger and stronger and loves to try to stand up and to lift his head up. He still has a strong grip and he’s doing better at holding toys.

Leo and his fingers!!!

Leo turns TWO months today!

Leo is the best baby! He is soooo sweet and only wants to be held and cuddled and close to anyone who wants to hold him. It’s so precious! He has been smiling a lot and has started cooing which is absolutely adorable. He slept eight hours straight the other night which was amazing!

He’s getting to be such a big boy and unfortunately for him, he’ll have to squeeze into this last shipment of Amazon Mom size one diapers I got him before the first of the month and he gets into his size two! Sorry buddy!

He’s also so strong!!! He held his head up the day he was born… like WHAAAT? And now he does it all the time easily. He’s “all boy!” like my Mom says :)

He is so much fun to be around and loves to be in the action. He takes his sister’s shenanigans quite well and I am anxious for him to dish it back to her! Watch out Ivy!
