This trip was SO MUCH FUN! Napa with girls was such a blast! Laughs and cries and eating and drinking all weekend long. So many fun memories with my gal pals! PLUS, indulged in ALL THE WINE AND FOOD. We ate and drank our way through Napa!
We started pretty easy after our arrival, with a couple glasses of wine at Jessup Cellars then devoured dinner at Ad Hoc, my favorite! I love the family feast style of dinner and everything was SO GOOD. Plus we had a Failla pinot noir, and that was one of my favorite wineries we visited last time I went to Napa (see that post here)!
Each day we would walk to breakfast at Bouchon bakery or the Mini Model Cafe. Love a good breakfast! Later, we had a full tasting at Jessup Cellars and Keever. Both were so fantastic! Keever had INCREDIBLE views of the valley, so beautiful!
Later that night we had drinks on the rooftop of the Archer Hotel then ate way too much for dinner at Bistro Don Giovanni. YUM!
The next day, we started bright and early with a champagne tasting and cave tour of Schramsberg winery. I love the caves, they’re so neat and always interesting to hear about their wine making techniques.
We headed to Goose and Gander for lunch and switched it up to cocktails. These were so pretty and some of the best I’ve ever had! We also ate a gigantic burger that could hardly fit in my mouth! WOW! So good though!
That night was the best night! We ventured to a quaint little farm house for the Handwritten tasting and dinner. This family farm turned private tasting/dining room was so cool to see! The chef and owner of the home, had goats, chickens, and a gorgeous lot filled with beautiful flowers and herbs and vegetables that she uses in her cooking. LOVED ALL OF THIS! It was so neat to be sitting in her farmhouse doing the tasting then getting served an incredible dinner. We ended with some more wine around her fire pit that capped the evening off perfectly! Highly recommend this if you ever go to Napa!!!
Our last day began with a tasting at Spring Mountain and THIS WAS LIKE OUT A MOVIE. The land was literally breath-taking with vineries and gardens and forests everywhere, so beautiful. We did our tasting in the historic Miravalle home, which is a gorgeous historic estate from the 1880’s. The woodwork and high ceilings made me tear up with its beauty! Incredible to see something so majestic! We got to taste a 1979 cabernet sauvignon that was beyond amazing. This was the best tasting of them all!!!!
We went on to lunch at Auberge Du Soleil (winner of 12 Michelin-stars) with views and views of vineries galore. The food was to die for and our rosé was refreshing. YUM!
Our final tasting was at Kuleto, which was way up the mountain and had majestic views of the valley. Lastly, we ate at Bistro Jeanty, and this was so delicious! Their tomato soup definitely lived up to everything I’ve heard about it! THE BEST!
SUCH A FUN TRIP!!! Love Napa and I could eat fine foods and drink fine wine all day! Favorite kind of vacation!
